Get something tier 3 or higher. 450w is enough, but 550w will let you use bigger upgrades to the GPU and CPU. No need to go higher than 650w for a single GPU setup, unless its Vega. 

Hello guys,i bought a new pc month ago,and i had a question..

 

My psu is FSP Hyper 600w,and i checked on the internet that its not so good for my specs,and i can damage my system,and i wanted to ask is it true:

 

Cpu-Intel core i5-6600k 3,5ghz

Gpu-MSI GTX 1070 8gb

Ram-Kingston HyperX KHX240015 DDR4 2400Mhz 8gb x 2

Motherboard-MSI Z170a M3

I used to use 2nd hand parts fo my builds usually even the shop owner tell to pick another psu from the bin as he says the capacitors don't last 

I you can afford it try getting corsair psus
