So, I had an issue with a BSOD when I had my RTX 2080 Founder's Edition first installed.

I noticed I had other drivers that might have been interfering with each other and I changed out my PSU just in case.

I5-8600K OCed to 4.8 (was having issues before the OC as well)

X52 AIO Cooler

RTX 2080 FE

Z370-E mobo

16gb Vengeance DDR4

EVGA 750W Semi Mod PSU

Thermaltake J24 mesh style case (has much more airflow than my last case)

Issues I was having before have not come back. No BSOD yet.

BUT, I have nothing but issues when playing games. Pubg, Siege, Ring of Elysium. All jittering and stuttering every 5 seconds or so or when turning quickly. Settings are set to LOW on some of them just to see if that was the fix and nothing fixes it. Graphics look good, and gameplay is manageable. But I didn't spend all that money for manageable. My GTX1080ti did not skip a beat when playing.

I have the most up to date drivers (411.70 - Geforce Experience). Nothing has solved it. Even factory reset.

Temps for the GPU are in the mid 70s. After the OC on the cpu, it gets to about mid 50s.

Any ideas?

P.S. - I did remove one of my memory sticks to see if this cured the issue. No luck.

Try removing that thing and then redo a clean driver install without installing it again. Not a sure thing but I did hear from some people that GE was causing them problems.

I’ll try it tonight. I actually installed a 1050ti and although the graphics weren’t where I wanted it to be at, there were no skips. Ill update if this solves it.

By the way, didn't fix my issue.

I bought a GTX 1080ti to see if it would be any different. Yep, works perfectly. Not tears, no stutters. Works perfect.

Not sure why but, the RTX was just acting funky. Nvidia will give me my money back. I'm heading that route. Don't feel like waiting around for things like that to get worked out.

Also, it's cheaper for the 1080ti. Lol
