got a new msi z370 pro a and 8600k, however, the mb does not post and no beep (only have cpu and ram installed), the cpu check debug light is on, south bridge is hot but cpu is dead cold. I tried take out the ram with cpu, only cpu light is on, same for no cpu and ram, no beep. does msi mb nowadays even beeps error code? I checked the socket, no bent, so is it just the mb?

Have you reseated the CPU?
