I need recommendations for a great 1440p, 120hz/144hz, and primarily with good colour accuracy monitor under USD$700 for my own productivity pc build.

Yeah, but G-sync isnt necessary but itll be a nice touch

I second the ASUS MG279Q. Have it myself and is a great monitor for all types for games.
