But why in the previous configuration (the old raid card and the expander) there were'nt connected ?

Actually i don't know if the old expander was a expander, but can it be something else ?

The picture you showed us was definitely an expander. Was there more than one device?

 

It's possible the old config simply didn't use the expander, and directly connected the RAID Card into the Backplane. That works totally fine, but if there aren't enough cables, it just means that some of the HDD slots don't function.
