Hello,

as until today I was just reading in the Forum and today i build myself my new Desktop:

- AsRock Taichi x470

- Ryzen 2700X with dark rock Pro 4

- one 16 gb stick Gskill Ripjaws Ram

- MSI GTX 1080ti

- Straight power 11 750W PSU

- Samsung 860 evo M.2 SSD 1TB

Everything went smoothly, but some time ago the system started to micro-freeze/stutter when put under load.

for half a second the system freezes and the sound buzzes then everything goes on as normal for some seconds, then it happens again.

I tried to figure out whether the CPU or GPU temps are too high or if something else is wrong. sadly without success.

In ''normal'' conditions the system is fine, when I start a game it starts stuttering.

has anyone any ideas for me ?

Best regards.

Noroi

Funny thing, I've had that exact problem with a completely different build. Do you use overclocking software? My problem was tied to fan speed somehow, you should see how changing GPU fan speed affects the stuttering.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
