Capped @ 30FPS While On Battery

Hi All,

 

I've got a Acer PREDATOR & for some reason it's locking the FPS to 30 while not plugged in...

 

My theory is that the laptop won't use it's max preformance while unplugged.. Usage is down to about 30% while unplugged, 100% when plugged in. Anyone have an idea how to fix this, if it's even an issue?

 

I thought you could play laptops unplugged but maybe not anymore...

Open Geforce Experience and disable Battery Boost

 

Side note: Using medium/heavy load unplugged kill your battery faster.

So, I did the Battery Boost thing and only got a 10fps increase.

 

I know, it's just weird it won't run at full potential without a charger.

Of course. The GPU will be heavily underclocked while on battery to prevent battery damage (overload)
