Automatic USB backup

DrBonesMcCoy

I have a 32Gb dual drive (USB-A/C). Is there a way I can make it automatically back up A certain folder on my laptop containing my school work? I've seen some programs but some are paid and others just look down right sketchy. Thanks.

Just upload it up to Googles cloud since its free, it will work with what you'll probably need.

Windows backup can do specific folders to a device.

If you're on windows 10, just search backup from your start menu, open the backup page (It's also in your settings menu), add your 32GB drive, then select the folder you want to backup.

Alternatively, free programs like Google Drive and Dropbox allow you to do cloud backups of specific folders by adding that folder inside of Drive or Dropbox's folder.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

I know google drive etc exist but I do a lot of my work offline while in college and don't have much time in my house to do this. College time is tight as it is. I tried the windows backup but it doesn't detect my USB. I've tried others with the same results.

IIRC, Windows backup drives need to be formatted as an NTFS drive. Use disk management (Win+X, then click disk management) to make sure you USB drive is formatted correctly.

If you have any data already on the USB drive, make sure to move it as formatting the drive will wipe all data off of it.
