So I just built my first custom rig.

GTX 1080ti

I7 8700k

16gb 3000mz corsair RGB ram

Z370p Asus mobo

Hyper 212

Kingston 250gb SSD (windows)

Seagate Barracuda 2tb (games)

Corsair RMX650

And I'm getting micro stutters, will run at a buttery 60fps with vsync on and get a micro stutter every 10 secs no matter what game, no matter what settings.

Things ive tried.

Changed power settings to performance

Reinstalled mobo and gpu drivers

And others that i cant remember, any tips?

Which monitor are you using?

Is everything detected correctly in the BIOS and in windows, such as all 16GB of RAM? Is the ram 1x16GB stick or 2x8GB sticks? Is the RAM installed in the correct slots according to the motherboard manual RAM installation guide?

have you monitored system use in task manager while gaming?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Yeah only utilizes like 80- 90% gpu

"only", as in almost all of it. It could be a system limitation, because that's basically max load with how task manager runs. But 90% load in every game? some examples would help.
