So tonight my desktop had the nerve to fail while I was getting shredded by a team of 4 in a battle royal. Grr. It was like the lights went out. The computer went black and stone cold. I thought the breaker might have flipped as we had some lighting earlier but my surge protector was still on and many (much more delicate) components on the same outlet are just fine.

I turned the PSU off, then back on. Green light on the Mobo. Good. Hit power (and here's the fun part) 2 fans spin briefly and the RGB ring on my Corsair pump flash for a second. But otherwise no action.

Any troubleshooting tips for isolating the PSU (which is a 550W Corsair, not 2 months old) or the Mobo (a 4 year old ASRock)?

Thank you guys!

Living in the present, for the future, because of the past.
