so recently ive noticed that my temps on my cpu have been higher then normal.  i have a 4790k non overclocked with a nzxt kraken x61 all in one.  i replaced the stock fans with corsair ml pros.  at idle, the cpu sits around 40 degrees Celsius and under load can reach upwards of 85 degres plus.  i know im safe but the temps never got that high before so easily.  i did recenlty replace the thermal paste on the cpu but when i did that it acually lowered the temps.  i also cleaned out the rad of dust recently so i know that aint the issue.  do you think that it may be time for a new cooling solution?  if so what do you recommend?  i would prefer to stick with an all in one.  my case is the corsair 400c.  the case can techinacally support a 360 rad at the front but i dont personally see how.

that's really high for stock clocks on a double rad. maybe drop the voltage in BIOS just to reduce temps

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I did a bit of research for you, basically by putting on those corsair fans, you went and put on worse performing fans than the stock ones. sure they look good but they have worse max static pressure and over all air flow. Here some links for you to go see. check under the specification tabs and compare the two. You wanna mainly look at the CFM and mmH20 values. try installing the stock fans and see if your temps will come down again.

yea but the issue is when i put those fans on, the temps didnt come up they acually dropped a few degrees and the noise levels went down.  the temps all started going up when i flipped around the fans on the rad cause i orignally had all the fans as exhaust

Oh in that case you may have been creating turbulence in your case, reducing overall airflow. It sounds like you have your radiator mounted on the top of your case? In that case it is best suited for exhaust.

Interesting, so then maybe the case is good with negative pressure? Never quite heard that before. When your fans were Intake, were they push or pull?
