Need help setting a keybind in Ubuntu

I want to set a keybind to click on something quickly and repeatedly.  I know this was a thing back when I played Battlefield 2.  Some people used it for guiding the missiles in the attack helicopters.  I never knew how that was done and I don't know how to do it on Ubuntu.  Can someone please help me?
