your laptop will restart and it should boot up then. let me know if that works because you'll need to do something else after that.

same thing as earlier but this time it is not showing the snapd part

but that's normal. it only sometimes get to the snapd part

okay. when you boot up in the boot loader you see 'ubuntu' and 'advanced options for ubuntu'. go to advanced options, and select the third option.

really? wow... this just went crazy. sounds like your filesystem is corrupted... 

i'm out of options you can try now... just reinstall Ubuntu.

maybe i should boot into Windows and see if the problem lies in there. You know, maybe it decided not to fully unmount? i told it not to but ya i think i'll go look over at that

have you even tried booting Windows? if Windows boots okay it's just the ubuntu filesystem that broke itself. in that case just reinstall it. by the way, if you somehow magically get it working don't forget to install snapd again because you removed it with one of the previous things you tried.

yupper. i can boot windows and have been doing so when i needed my computer

but i really hate it

yep. well you know what to do now. reinstall Ubuntu. that should fix it.
