Blue Yeti+Ubuntu 12.04=No Sound

Make sure the setting are set to send audio to the yeti not the onboard sound.

I have my DT990's plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the Yeti, and I get sound in Win. 7, but not in Ubuntu. Its actually a weird situation, becasue the voice monitoring that is built into the Yeti still works, and I can hear myself talk, but I cant hear system noises, and I definitly cannot hear YouTube or any other media. Why? They work fine when plugged directly into the PC, but I was wondering is there was a lazier solution to it then plugging them into a diffrent jack whenever I use Ubuntu, which I use on a daily basis for Cinelerra. Solutions?
