Do you NEED to upgrade though? Getting stutters? FPS lower than desired?

Only thing I see that could hold you back is the 3gb VRAM of the 1060.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

3GB will be fine for 1080p gaming for quite a while.

OP: I would say don't upgrade unless there's something that you need to upgrade.

Ok thanks btw my processor is not unlocked so rip

A locked i7 is still better in games than ryzen, so it's not like you're exactly missing out

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

1080, overclocked 1070ti can give same performance, but it will produce more heat

Moore's law ain't like it used to be. Coffee lake is also barely better than 6th and 7th gen, which in turn are ever so slightly better than ryzen.

Well what brand of a card should I get like Asus, because I want my pc to look good

Brand doesn't really matter, but msi, asus, and evga; i personally stay away from gigabyte cause their products are cheaply made. You just gotta look at their options and base it off what you want your pc to look like. Most 1080s have very neat designs

True, but OP hasn't stated the resolution he's gaming in.

Wait a minute, before you upgrade, what's your monitor? What resolution? What refresh rate?

Not much will get done in this day and age at 1440p with a 1060 3GB, but I see your point.
