Pc underperforming?

I get really bad performance inside of Fortnite.It stutters some times. Idk what to do. Please help.

 

Bios version: SMBIOSBIOSVersion 3805 (From cmd)

Windows: 64-bit

Fortnite fps: 120 average, all max, settings, 1440p

#1 make sure all drivers and BIOS are updated.

#2 What are your temps?

#3 Verify game files for fortnite and unreal engine

#4 Does this happen in other games?

#5 There might be a CPU bottleneck, because the 1080 it is quite a lot for a 6700

Download and install MSI Afterburner and configure its on screen display to show you GPU and CPU usage in game. This will give you live information about how your system is performing and you will be able to see if your CPU is limiting your system.

 

Bloody hell. I tried updating Fortnite so I could test what FPS I get in it, since I have a fairly similar set up, and I put in the wrong password once and my account gets temporarily locked. Good job, Epic Games.

The stutter is like im getting high fps but its like im playing on 25fps and sometimes get the fps its saying im getting. Only the screen not audio.
