TAZ 5 Print Head

Hey everyone,

 

I got a Lulzbot TAZ 5 from my old teacher. Only issue I'm aware of is that the print head as a whole is not working. I kind of just want to do an upgrade to it and get a dual extruder or even more fancy of an upgrade. Does anyone have any suggestions for compatible upgrades? As far as I know, the extruder assembly just should be entirely replaced, hence just wanting an upgrade.

Lulzbot machines are 100% open source so you can start with their files and go from there if you really wanted to. http://download.lulzbot.com/TAZ/5.0/production_parts/

 

You'd need to check to see if the control board allows for a second extruder motor. I 'think' it does but can't quite remember.
