I have a tomohawk b350 and got a really nice overclock with my hynix ram and ryzen 1600x. When I first got the mobo I assumed I cheaped out when it was so inexpensive. Is there any better mobos I could get to improve my overclock or is it not worth it. I also want to get a mitx board and a very small case to go with it. Tired of all these massive build sizes.

CPU:R9 3900x@4.5Ghz RAM:Vengeance Pro LPX @ 3200mhz MOBO:MSI Tomohawk B350 GPU:PNY GTX 1080 XLR8

If you want to get better overclocks, you're going to want to compare VRMs, otherwise known as "motherboard heatsinks." However, if you're already hitting ~4.0GHz, then I wouldn't recommend getting a new MB, unless it's Mini-ITX, like you mentioned.

If you are happy with the board and already getting a good OC no point in upgrading.  I'd save your money, you  would be paying a pretty price for that extra few MHz you might be able to gain and no real life noticeable performance increase.   Only get a new board if the one you have is lacking features you need.

Ryzen 2600 - Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 - Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB - Corsair Force MP500 NVMe PCIe M.2 240GB - 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB -

AsRock B450 PRO4 - Deepcool Earlkase Case -  Seasonic Foucus+ 650

I'm looking for just a little more , I've been running stable 4.25 going to 4.3 would be great.

The thing is, a new board doesn't necessarily mean you can reach 4.3 so it might be all for nothing.  If it's just a number you are trying to reach and aren't worried about the expense go for it.

I know it doesn't mean forsure that I could achive 4.3 just looking for that extra little bump, and a mitx while I'm at it
