I'm going to try to not be cruel in any way but, its a bigger number....

2560x1440 = 16:9 (16 pixels across for 9 every 9 up)

2560x1600 = 16:10 (16 pixels for every 10 up)

1280x720 < 1920x1080 < 2560x1440 < 3840x2160

you can also multiply the numbers to check... 

 

2560x1440 = 3686400 pixels

2560x1600 = 4096000 pixels

 

I guess you can tell the difference.

The different is between Aspect Ratio so 1440p has 160 less pixels as its 16:9 not 2560*1600p which is 16:10 or another factor would be 8:5

I'd take the 2560x1440 because it comes in 27inch and 2560x1600 comes in 30 inch.
