Please help! Audio not working

I was just playing and my audio stopped working. I use this usb headset: Alcatroz(by amrmaggeddon) X-craft HP-5 Pro .I tried using two sony headphones and they didn't work either so its my pc but then when I plugged the headset into my acer chrome book I didn't get any sound either. I tried the trouble shooting for the headset and it plays the beep but I don't hear anything so I click I didn't hear anything download driver again but then it just loads for ever. I have a windows update which is not updating so that might be part? It says that a something(can't remeber) driver needs to be downloaded then it asks me to update my computer but nothings happens. I have the disc that the headset came with but its one of those mini dics and I don't have a disc reader.

Try  to reset audio device: Device Manager > Right click on your headset > Uninstal, then restart the pc, for me, i t worked in the past

Yes. It won't work without the driver installed.

nvm it worked once but when I logged back on it happened again. I tried it gain but it didn't work. any ideas?

Have you tried this driver package?

This will rule out that Windows Update is pulling some fuckery.

i haven't updated the realtek driver yet but when I select which speaker to choose from if I select Speakers (USB PnP Audio Device) I can hear only a whisper when still at 100 volume but can't hear anything else from the other two

Oh your headset is USB? Or is it connected to a DAC or whatever?

No idea. Apparently this headset is generic enough to not have any software or drivers, so if it can't be fixed that way, I'm going to assume there's something wrong with it.

should I contact alcatoz or realtek or the place where I got my headset from?
