Ebay GPU - no receipt?

Hey guys! I recently bought myself a 1080ti SC2 NEW. So here's the deal, my brother wants a 1080ti as well, but he only has a part time job, there's a 1080ti for $515 usd,BUT he doesn't have the receipt.

Should he trust buying it? I don't believe he would be able to RMA it in case it doesn't work. He really wants to upgrade but he's not so sure if he can trust it.

Suggestions? Thanks guys.

If it's an EVGA card that still has a warranty, they have been known to honor said warranty even if you're not the original owner.

If you're paying with Paypal there's no issue; if the card doesn't work, just file a claim with them. The only issue you'd have is if it fails later on, which in my experience is pretty rare.

@Crunchy Dragon It's 100% guaranteed to have warranty if it's an EVGA card; they base their warranties on the manufacture date of the card, not a receipt.
