You "reset" your display? Meaning your OSD settings (Color, brightness, contrast etc)? Or you reset some other setting in Windows? If you reset your display via the OSD (On Screen Display) then just reset it back to factory defaults and see what that does.

Probably just the adapter. Try a different one, or try a new cable. Also, the connectors are secure on both sides?

I did it on screen, not on windows :/

Are the vga/dvi/hdmi cable(S) plugged in all the way? I know the color will turn weird if they are out a little bit

Why would it be an adapter? He used the OSD to factory default the screen. The OSD has nothing to do with factory defaulting it O.o

Could be a coincidence that a cable/adapter decided to shit the bed at the same time but I doubt it.

@OP check your cables to make sure they are seated all the way in the plugins on the back of the monitor and your computer.

Everything is plugged in correctly, this should be something like Display software ( not graphics card), becouse when it reseted it did something like auto adjust, then for a brief second colors were OK, after that it was all red again.
