Internal drive questions

I have some questions, one of which being: Can you seperate a drive into equal partitions and then put them into RAID? I am honestly not sure if that would work.
And my second question: Can you put an SSD and an HDD in RAID together?
(Maybe some other questions later idk.)

You can make raid of patitions in linux, but normally you don't want to.

 

You can raid a ssd and hdd, but it runs at the speed of the hdd unless there is a cache setup

 

Go play with raid in linux, you can do all of this
