But just now I heard that the xps 15 9570 4k has some thermal problems and limitations... Will this be a problem?

Same budget of the xps 15. Max weight: 2kg. Battery life: at least 5 hours, but I will use an external battery as well. Shipping to UK and friend will bring me it. Usage: School and hard gaming. Will use external GPU at home. For full explanation:

You can't get 5 hrs battery life with this model

 

It's an excellent model but you might want to do repaste and add thermal pads (Asus chewing gum stock paste and thermal paste on VRMs)
