i have this PC planned: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HdGrpG

i want to know, will this be able to handle the development of simple games such as CSGO or other simple games. I will be upgrading it soon when i get more game dev skills, but this is to just get me started. I am only asking if it can run game dev on Unreal Engine 4, because i already know it will run Unity 3d (which will be a secondary engine i will be using) because my laptop can run it, and it does not even have a dedicated card, thank you in advance. I am on a budget and from what I have read, this will do. But i want an opinion from the experienced people from this forum. My budget is 300$ but i would like to not go that high. I already have the HDD from a prebilt i took apart. I am getting the SSD for the OS (either windows 10 or 8) thanks in advance

if you really must have nothing but new parts for such a low budget, get this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($98.89 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($77.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Raidmax - Ninja II ATX Mid Tower Case  ($25.98 @ Newegg Business)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($26.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $289.84
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-09-14 13:20 EDT-0400

but as I've already told you before, $300 is not enough for a new gaming rig, especially one that'll be used for game development. pretty sure I've listed down a Xeon rig and gpu from eBay on one of your older threads, go get those instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

you're living off the iGPU in this case, performs like a 1030 with a 3000-3200mhz ram kit.

Yep

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
