What are you going to do with the system from there on? Linux or another version of windows maybe?

Well you could put the hard drive in a computer as not the boot drive and format the disk (back up everything you care about first). And if you plan on installing a new OS on the drive, going through the installation usually formats the drive anyways.

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

To piggyback on @Verrierr's question, you don't need to uninstall windows if you're going to install a Linux distro or another version of windows, iirc
