K95 supplying power

I was wondering what would happen if I plugged in my k95 into a battery bank. When I did it made my mobo led’s light up and my graphics card power led light up. I unplugged my power supply an it still did it. When I unplugged the second usb it all turned off. Is it normal for k95s to do this with a battery bank.
