Jailbreaking questions

I want to jailbreak my iphone so I can have new features, but I have a few questions first. (By the way, I am asking from here instead of good ol' google because I don't want to take answers from bots)

1) Where do I do it and what is the safest way?

2) If I Jailbreak, will it move to a newer iphone when I get an upgrade?

3) What do I do if i do get scammed or brick my phone?

 

If you guys have trusted videos answering these questions please answer with them.
