Swapping screen on thinkpad 440s

Hello, i have question, is it possible to replace 1600x900 screen on thinkpad t440s and upgrade it to 1920x1080? Will connector fit and stuff?

I upgraded the screen on my older Inspiron to 1080p when it died using a off brand replacement so it's possible if you can find a compatible one.   Most laptops use either a 30 or 40 pin connector and there is a few different mounting layouts so you'll have to do some research.

A quick search shows it's a 30 pin,

I just did the same, i didn't know how to make sure that both will fit, i did what you did, just found both models and see how many pins they have, both have 30 so great.
