Hi, I´m planning on building a gaming-pc and would like your help in making sure that im not doing anything stupid.

1. Budget & Location: My budget is around 1.8k € in germany

2. Aim:Im mostly going to use this pc for gaming, dont need to do video editing graphics design etc. The games range from pretty old ones like TF2 and CSGO to newer and more demanding games like dishonored 2 gta5 just cause3 etc. also i want to be able to run tf2 and csgo reliably at high framerates for the multiplayer.

3. Monitors: My intention is to get a Dell S2716DG 1440p 144hz gsync monitor (monitor is on a seperate budget)

4.Peripherals:No peripherals needed, and have not yet decided which os im going to use

5. Why are you upgrading?: Im upgrading because im currently using an old laptop from 2012 which makes most games terrible to play

Ok so this is what i had in mind so far, and my reasoning for it:

CPU:Intel i7-8700K   (good cpu intending to overclock it)

CPU-Fan:BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3  (has some reserves allowing for overclocking)

Graphics Card:Palit GTX 1080 Super Jetstream   (good gpu with a slight oc from factory)

Board:[Gigabyte Z370 Hd3  (allows me to oc)] ASRock Z370 Extreme 4

RAM:16GB G.Skill RipJaws V schwarz DDR4-3200 DIMM

PSU:600 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 10 (from what Ive read it seems to be relativley quiet)

SSD:500GB Crucial MX500 (500gb so I got some reserves for bigger games)

HDD:1000GB WD Blue WD10EZEX (enough space for music, movies and pictures i dont need often)

Case:Corsair Carbide 200R (cheap and i dont need something flashy)

Case-fan:4x Scythe Slip stream 120mm (not to noisy)

So what do you think did i miss something did i screw up or is this fine?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

isn't 600 watts borderline for a 1080 ?

I tried using a few calculators for the psu and none of them suggested anything above 600w.
And im not going to try and push the limits with the OC but rather just some small improvments.

But thanks for the input thats just the kind of things i dont want to mess up so im going to double check again^^

the Z370 HD3's VRMs suck so spend abit more and get an asrock extreme4 instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
