Creating a template for a vinyl wrap issues

I'm trying to get a vinyl wrap made for my laptop since I cant really get them anywhere decent. The problem I am having is trying to calculate the curve on the laptop lid. How would I go about doing this?

The laptop is the Xiaomi Notebook Pro.

I need to send the measurements to a company for them to create the vinyl.

take the measurements of the shape you cut out

It honestly depends how technical you want to get about it. Could whip out some calculus and do it that way, but id probably just do what I said by cutting it out and then maybe scanning it or making a trace of it in something like illustrator.
