Have you tried using www.pcpartpicker.com yet?

It's a GREAT website! The only downside is that taxes are not included. But it does give you a ton of options. It even has price charts to compare it to previous prices and different time points.

Great for seeing what months are usually the best for lower price points.

Well, do you plan on overclocking at all? You have the 1050 TI for overclocking and the z370 for OC, but your cpu does not. Was just wondering if you were going to OC that as well.

Also, the G3 power supply is a bit loud, or so the word is. Try looking for a Seasonic psu or maybe Corsair. If you're going to get an EVGA psu, go for the G2 if you can. It's an older model than the G3 but it's actually better. It has better airflow and it's quieter. (better airflow means less heat)

As for the ssd, see if you can find out if there's anything better with a good boot up time.

I see you built this rather fast. It's not a bad build, but it could be a little better. Surf the forums or even post more topics asking others for some help. Sometimes there are deals out of the blue that are pretty beneficial to know about.

Look! The EVGA G2 is on sale at the moment. It's $79.99 up front for the cost but if you do the mail-rebate it drops it down to 57.99!

I would get it now to be honest. Sometimes the best deals are totally random.

You can compare the EVGA G3 vs the EVGA G2, but it's almost a no competition situation where the G2 is in favor.

you could switch the cpu for a ryzen 2600 (more powerful and has more threads, and overclocking makes it just as good as the 2600x and almost as good as i5 8600k) with a a b450 tomahawk mobo. you also dont need that much power for your psu. your could switch it to a seasonnic focus 550w 80+ gold, and use the  fractal design focus g case, which has better air flow and 2 preinstalled fans. and maybe the extra money from changing the cpu will let you upgrade to a radeon rx 580 dual (not the armor). also i don't remember which fan, but ik there's one better than the evo

That's a good entry-level gaming PC.

Two notes:

The NZXT case is overkill. If I were you, I would look for a Cooler Master E500L or MB510L, or a Corsair Carbide Spec-04 or 100R.

I'd use the money you save here and get either a Crucial MX500 250GB SSD, or get a GTX 1060 or RX580 video card.

Would you say this one is a better deal at the moment? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qYTrxr/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1

Currently 57.99 with the rebate unless he doesn't want to send it in then it will be 79.99. That Corsair one is great too though!

OP - Are you in need of a fully modular or semi modular psu at the moment? Both the one I and RAM have posted are great options.

This is 866.03 base price and $937.48 after taxes. You can add a cpu cooler or upgrade the ssd now! I switched the 1050 ti to a 1060 6b and the psu to the EVGA G2 550w gold because it's at such a great price right now.

Do you already have that NZXT case in your possession?

Oh, well then a 2600x would be the best bet, it is not as powerful as the i5 in gaming (just by a tinsy bit), but it is the most well rounded, meaning its better for running multiple programs and such. Plus, if youre not overclocking you can just use the cooler that comes with the cpu, which'll save you some extra money you can use elsewhere.

A b450 tomahawk would be be good. It's priced at $100 rn, which is $40 off.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qbB4P3 This the cheapest pc I could come up with quickly that does not need any overclocking done to it, but that still performs excellently. And not that ik of. You'd be better off building it to get the best for your money

Looks great! You probably already read my previous replies, but just in case you didn't, the rx 580s (besides the armors because they produce a ton of heat) do perform just as well (even sometimes better than 1060s) for a cheaper cost. Also, the case you have chosen does not have good air flow; the fractal design focus g has much better air flow and includes 2 preinstalled fans. Both these will bring the cost down about $50 too, but, if you already took those into consideration, then your build is still a very good one!
