Triple Monitors - Advice

HI all,

I'm a sim-racer, and looking to move to triple displays.

Current spec is ASUS 08G 1080 card, unfortunately it only has 2 x DP outputs. So, my plan is to either upgrade to a different 1080ti with 3 x DP, or wait for the 2080ti reviews and move to a 2080ti then, if they look good.

I'm looking for minimum 27" displaysmy mount can take up to 3 x 35" displays.

I'd like G-Sync, and am torn between QHD or ultra-wide 1440p. VA or IPS displays I think.

What would people recommend?

the card has 5 ports total so i dont really see why you dont use HDMI or DVI for the third monitor.

Also i highly recommend to not get one single triple monitor stand, they are expensive and will limit you, instead get three separate single monitor arms and be more flexible.

Thanks for the comments....the issue is G-sync (and I also understand refresh rate >60hz) are not supported over the HDMI or DVI ports....

Therefore, I could have 2 monitors set up fully, but the limitations of the 3rd connection would bring the whole surround set-up to that level.

In terms of monitor stand, it's perfectly suited to my sim-rig, and has adjustable positioning (height, width and angles).

DVI supports higher refresh rates. Higher than a single card is gonna give you frame wise.

My two triple monitor stands were less that $130 a piece.

Can’t say what monitor to recommend. What ever meets you’re requirements and price.
