My computer has been running rock stable for months now, but yesterday started freezing and now will not post at all. The lights turn on and fans spin up, but I get nothing on my monitor. All I see is my mobo LED display code 8, which the manual claims is a failure to contact the CPU. My specs are:

Asus X370 Crosshair VI Hero Wifi

Ryzen 1700X

16GB DDR4-3000, 2x4 GB Patriot, 2x4GB Corsair

Vega 56

Samsung 960 Evo

Sandisk SSD Plus

WD 7200RPM HDD

Custom EKWB liquid cooling on the CPU and GPU (Yes, it's aluminum. Dont @ me)

Coolermaster V750 Gold Fully Modular PSU

Lian Li PC011 Dynamic

So far, I've tried clearing the CMOS, checking all the ram sticks and slots 1 by 1, and reseating the CPU, with no luck. I also confirmed all of the cables are still in place. My computer still wont post. My next idea is to call ASUS and see if they can help with anything, but I can't see any troubleshooting I could do without having to buy new parts and swap them out. Does anyone have and "Code 8" experience, and might be able to help?

Thanks!

Try reseating the CPU and using just one stick of ram.

I had already tried that, with no luck. :/
