Hue+ no longer detected

I noticed when changing my setups colors around that the HUE+ is no longer detected in cam but the lights are still on I have done a fresh install but that did not work

Yeah, it's wonky software, and intrusive.

I just make sure the CAM box is powered and re-install CAM software.

I run CAM v3.3.4.

After boot I open Taskmaster and close the one or two CAM services that are running.

One service is CAM (32 bit). It will be under Apps if the CAM window is open,

and under Background processes, if the CAM window is closed.

The other CAM process may or may not be running,

but its named CAM something and is always under Background processes when running.

Once any CAM processes are killed HUE+ will continue to function

and all data collection by NZXT will be stopped.

Along with, for me, unnecessary system monitoring.

Also, RGB Software by different manufacturers often conflicts with each other.

That's a thing.

So should I downgrade cam

Anything is worth a try.

I generally just flail around till something works.

If you have other RGB software you could try not loading it until

you have been in and out of CAM.

unplugged then plugged back in worked
