Pretty ambitious for a first build.

Gtx 1070 ti would be better, probably available for cheaper, and a dual fan cooler would help a lot instead of a blower model.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Not sure if trolling or purposely misleading...

I'd go for the 2700 instead of the X variant and use the 40 usd somewhere else like the GPU.

Also I'd get a 1070 over a Vega 56 unless you have a FreeSync monitor.

The new NVIDIA GPU's are coming out tomorrow sooo maybe wait a bit?

EDIT: By tomorrow I meant in a week. Idk why I said tomorrow.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

Also costs triple of what he has.. lmao, and why do you have the 960 Pro? At least include a 970 Pro, better yet, Optane rather than blowing all that money on overkill PSU, case and HDD... what a wash.

He never put a price down and I did say on my post "if you have the cash" and the 960 is just as good as the 970 and the case and power supply is not overkill its for future upgrades

Then your build is just a complete waste of money.

I might as well set up a water loop, 905P SSD and all that shit then put a "if you have the cash" next to it and suggest them to him. Makes the sense it does not, you're suggesting him some of the highest end of top end hardware and without even thinking for a second thought, clearly giving him pointless advice. Why not ask him what he can afford? It's obvious that the guy is aiming for a mid-high range build..

Maybe wait for him to reply to see what he can afford before saying you think you know

I'm no magician you know, I can't read into the OP's mind. However, I can give him advice related to what he proposed in the OP, which is something you're FAR away from doing.

Apologies, while money isnt really too tight for me, im not looking to go crazy all out custom loop and stuff haha. Excluding peripherals, around 2000 is my limit and 1500-1600 is the sweet spot you could say

Ill take that as a compliment haha, ive been gaming on a 300 dollar basic hp desktop and a 17 in monitor for as long as i can remember, so im ready for a damn upgrade

Can you explain what you mean by dual fan and blower model and such? I'm brand new to this sort of thing. Also my monitors are freesync and i sort of prefer amd?? Atleast i've been talked into from friends, and who doesnt like an underdog story

Sorry i forgot to mention this computer isnt JUST for gaming, its gonna be for streaming/video editing/rendering, isnt the 8 core 2700x better for those sort of tasks then the 6 core 8700k?

and i prefer my case :PPP

its cheaper because its a regular ssd not an m.2 pcie

It totally depends upon what software ull be using for video editing...

Even from streaming point of view....8700k is still pretty good
