Hello everyone.

I need help, yesterday my laptop(vaio VPCSB45FL) showed the bluescreen maybe related to video drivers. It does not let me access the system unless uninstall the drivers in safe mode, just like this starts w7 but without the proper driver.

This is the information that I have of the problem:

Firma con problemas:
Nombre del evento de problema:    BlueScreen
  Versión del sistema operativo:    6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
  Id. de configuración regional:    2058

Información adicional del problema:
  BCCode:    116
  BCP1:    FFFFFA8009C97010
  BCP2:    FFFFF88004CA3A2C
  BCP3:    0000000000000000
  BCP4:    0000000000000002
  OS Version:    6_1_7601
  Service Pack:    1_0
  Product:    768_1

If i try to install the driver it will show bluescreen again. It also causes not being able to suspend the pc, I can only turn off or hibernate. I read that this problem comes from the lack of the same driver.

I hope can help me, attached the error capture and another capture took when I tried to start in linux.

Excuse me if my English is not the best. regards.

Have you had any luck fixing this?

Have you installed or changed anything recently?

Your model is second gen Intel correct? What is the full spec and general health of the system?

Despite discontinuing their VAIO range a good couple of years ago now the Sony Community forums still enlist staff members to offer support to existing VAIO owners so it may be worth posting there as well.
