Extending usb cable

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on the forum. I am currently building my setup but for a clean and tidy look my usb cables for my mouse and keyboard are to short.

I am needing something that can extend the range about 2 meters with no or low in put lag? I will be using the keyboard and mouse for gaming

But my research on cable extension i have come to the conclusion that extension cable are not good for gaming

I wasn't sure so I thought I would ask here just to be sure before I go and purchase a cable.

Come on, people playign games using wireless devices, so cable extension should have lower lag than wireless connection.
