MEGA chrome extension compromised

I don't have too much time to go into detail at the moment since I'm kind of busy at the moment with other obligations. The gist of it is the mega browser extension is compromised with malicious code and is attempting to steal passwords and crypto currency. discovered on 9/4/2018 here is the link to the original artical I saw while I was browsing the web:

Oh damn. I just have Adblocker, Dashlane, HTTPS Everywhere and a VPN as my extensions.
