Set Windows to boot from M.2 SSD

Its fine now i have fixed it, i dont know what was wrong but its all good now. So thanks everyone for your replies.

So I have recently bought a Samsung 970 Evo 500gb ssd, I have cloned my c drive to the ssd so it now has Windows on it. I also have a MSI z370-A-Pro MB and when I drag the ssd to be the first slot on the boot priority then try to boot Windows it just says that no operating system was found. What's have i done wrong?? Any help Is appreciated greatly!!

Did you format the previous drive that contained the OS? Also did you clone everything or just the user files?

You must clone the whole drive

it looks that you forgot to clone the system reserved partition

I never formatted the original hard drive that had Windows on it no. Ibdont think you were supposed to until you get it to boot from the ssd?

Okay, is the HDD is still connected, remove it and then try to boot your PC
