I have just built my first pc. It loads bios but when I try to boot from windows usb (made with windows creation tool or whatever it’s called) I am getting an error message ‘unmountable boot volume’ the bios are set to defaults. Please help!! Parts in build are: ryzen 3 2200g
Msi gaming plus motherboard
Corsair vengeance 2x4gb ram 2666mhz

What is the chipset of your MB? You may need an AMD Ryzen upgrade kit to update the BIOS for the 2000 series Ryzen chip if the MB is an older chipset. Also, check in the BIOS to see if the USB is being detected properly, you may need to turn on UEFI mode for it to work. Or try recreating the boot image with the media creation tool and then try to boot again.
