Hey guys,

So the parts for my new PC will arrive in couple of days, but I guess I made a mistake. My motherboard is Asus Prime Z370-A and my ram is HyperX Predator DDR4 16GB 3200 mhz (HX432C16PB3K2) but I don't know if it will work with my mb or not? Please help me out.

You are probably going to be fine, AMD is really the only picky one I have found.  Hyper X is pretty common stuff.

It will work fine as you have a DDR4 motherboard.

Z370 only supports DDR4, no problems there.

Thanks :)

By the way guys, I am getting a samsung evo 860 ssd. Read write speeds are somewhere 520/530 MB. Do you think I should spend a little more and get evo 970? I mean the speeds are far better on those ones. Or will it not make a big difference?

Even though the 970 is a lot "faster" you probably won't be able to tell the difference.  A lot of people can't tell the real world difference between pcie and sata SSDs.

Also good luck with your new build!

Thank you! The evo 860 I am getting is m.2 as well. So does it mean there could be difference or not?

From the connector on the end with the 2 notches indicates it is SATA on the 860evo (from a quick google image search).  the 970evo will only have 1 meaning its PCIe and is technically a lot faster.  I have both PCIe and SATA SSDs in my computers and it's very hard to tell the difference between them except in certain workloads.

And also what else do I need to buy? I mean I got all the essential parts, but do I need to buy some cables? (Like ethernet) or some tools?

what parts have you ordered already?

Well evo 860 is available in both sata and m.2 and I got the m.2 one. I ordered:

Intel i5-8600K

Be quiet! Dark rock pro 3

Gigabyte gtx 1080 windforce OC

Nzxt s340 razer edition

Corsair rm750x (I guess 750 will be enough for 1080 right?)

Asus prime z370-A

Kingston hyperx 16gb  3200mhz

Msi mag241C 1080p 144hz curved 1ms

standard 2.5/3.5" and m.2 are just the form factor, the speed factor lies in how it talks to the rest of your stuff.  SATA is the older standard wich is fine for HDDs but is a bottlenick for SSDs usually.  PCIe fixes that bottleneck but is also more expensive.

besides peripherals like a mouse and keyboard, the only cables you might need are a surge protected power strip and maybe an ethernet cable if you can connect it to the router from where you are.  That motherboard MIGHT have wifi (i didn't check) which is probably fine unless you want to do ethernet.  The screen should come with a cable suitable for its potential.

Speakers are nice in my opinion, otherwise, headphones are good.

mouse pads are nicer than a sheet of paper

750watts will be plenty for an 8600k and a gtx1080

I can't really think of anything else you might need.  you usually find out about what extras you like later on.

I don't know where you are located but I have a microcenter here which is glorious, best buy is meh but they have stuff in a pinch, otherwise ordering stuff is a pretty good bet.
