Connecting a PC's wifi connection to a Desktop

Hi there!

I currently have an older desktop PC without wireless connectivity, But I need internet on it and I am in a rural area so getting things shipped to me takes weeks.

 

I also have access to a cell phone and windows laptop at the moment, Is it possible to connect my laptop/phone and Desktop computer and give it access to the internet for a short time?

If you have an android phone you can plug it in to the computer via USB and turn on tethering in your wifi/data settings.You can also connect it to your laptops ethernet port to the desktops with a regular cable and turn on a setting called something along the lines of "allow other computers to use this PCs internet connection"

I cant remember specifically off the top of my head step by step instructions for either, but a quick google search should bring them up.
