Hello all,

Finally getting around to transforming a very old setup. Sort of. I upgraded my PC a couple years ago and for what I have started to use it for I don't see the need to make too many internal adjustments. I will preface by saying I am a systems administrative intern working on a lot of programming intensive tasks, so I really haven't been doing a whole heck of a lot of gaming. (Boring I know) But I am looking to do a full peripheral upgrade. I run some awful 1080p displays. Actually, only one is awful the other is a relatively OK BenQ panel. I have decided to spend roughly around half of a thousand dollar bonus on some upgrades. Aiming between 500-750$. I'm getting some productivity oriented keyboard and ice, i.e. the Logitech Orion G610 MX brown keyboard and MX Master Mouse. Subject to change if anybody has any ideas. Also planned on buying the Sceptre 4k 27in panel for around $200, it seems a pretty popular buy. And I was going to keep my 1080p BenQ panel in a vertically upright position for code editors. Anybody know what else I should buy or any changes I should make? Any programmers have recommendations for peripherals and displays? And would having a 1080p display next to a 4k display leave a noticeable strain on my eyes due to image quality difference?

1080 display next to 4k will only bug you because the scaling will have different resolution icons. For productivity, I recommend a 1080p ultra-wide. LG has quite an extensive selection.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

You think I would see a significant visual bonus moving to a 1080p ultrawide? I am trying to future proof in a sense. At least for the next couple years.
