So my PC will be built finished early-mid 2019.

A family member is upgrading his laptop (he used it for basic operations,Microsoft word etc)

 

It is 7 years young.Its probably a 2010-2011 laptop.Definitely 4gb ram.

 

You think its possible to play borderlands 1 and skyrim on it? 720p lowest settings 40fps.

Is there any GPU in that thing. If not good luck!

Need more details. What CPU, does it have only the intel igpu or does it have a dedicated gpu. 4GB Ram might come short

I can't see how I wont  be able to run it at lowest settings.
