Help me decide

I'm looking to build a PC under $2000 in about a month. I've been researching for over a year and even with countless YouTube reviews and guides I still can't decide. I'm planning on playing titles like csgo, rainbow 6, pub g, and overwatch at 1080p. Is it worth it to buy an 1080Ti? Or is a 1080 enough?

For 1080p a GTX 1080 is more than enough

1080 or save a few bucks and do a 1070 mine runs PUB G really well even on a POS hp MPBO 2ac8

For escorts titles like that, a 1080 would be more than sufficient, while being able to play other titles if you wanted to explore into other games.

It really depends on your monitor, is that included in the $2000 budget?

Save money and get a GTX 1070 Ti instead, then overclock it for close to near GTX 1080 performance levels. Buying a top tier card is always going to be a waste of money due to the price to performance curve falling off at the second to top tier cards. (If you have a sack of money lying around and don't mind spending that extra cash, then all the power to ya - buy the best card out there and enjoy. Otherwise save that money and buy beer / coffee / chocolate / tea instead.)
