Can you give us any more details? Chromium itself is not actually malware, it's a open-source browser similar to Chrome. Does Malwarebytes indicate it's still malicious?

From the research I did online, you can either download the chromium installer online, run it and then select Uninstall.

Another way is to go into, ProgramFiles, delete Chromium folder, ProgramFiles(x86), delete Chromium folder, Run>%AppData%, delete Chromium folder, Run>%LocalAppData%, delete Chromium folder and finally delete any shortcuts.

Essentially you're deleting any folder than contains anything related to the Chromium program. I found this information from SuperUser, hope it works.

Not only is chromium like Google chrome, chrome is literally built off of chromium. I believe it's auto downloaded when you get chrome, and also Malwarebytes is kinda crap, don't trust it fully.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

When I installed CE a while ago it also installed Chromium and Avast. Just uninstall them like regular programs first and remove the rest of the files they leave behind. I had to go and remove some of it from the registry because even though Chromium was gone, it was still appearing in the task manager in startup programs.

Chromium can be malware.  One that's damn near impossible to remove.  It replicates.
