CPU UPGRADE

So ive finally decided my cpu is almost 9 years old (i7-2600) it has done so well and never showed its age but its 2018 almost 2019 and this thing came out january 2011 is its extremely old but im running it with a gtx 1060 so its time to get somthing that can keep up i was debating on either a i3-8100 or a ryzen 5 1400  or just anything under 130$ i think these are decent upgrades but is there anything at the price point better?

You shouldn't have a bottleneck with a 1060 and that CPU...

Agree , I know a guy with an i7 870 and 1060 6gb and he is very happy

I suggest that you wait until you could increase your budget

your pc is very good , I am sure that you won't see a 20 - 30fps difference .

yhea but im trying to play monster hunter worlds and doing somephotoshop work etc and this cpu is killing my times and sorry for the language just messin around

Sorry, I misunderstood you

btw the ryzen 5 1400 will have the same issue as your previous cpu (same core thread count)

try to save for the 1600

you will have much better performance
