how are you getting crappy frames with a 780 on a 1080p monitor O_O

The game is seriously crap right now. It not optimized for Nvidia even with a 780. I get around 40-80 FPS. on low. -_-

thats very strange have you set the res above 100% or something? Just use the nvidia optimization program to set bf4 settings for you otherwise i really have no clue why it would be doing it on one game

so what is g-syncs main task, to pace out the gpu's outputted frames/images to a point where all frames seen by the user and not dropped or changed in anyway?

basically yes.

well it's more like it adjusts the monitor's refresh rate to well, sync up with the frames outputted by the gpu. what you're talking about here sounds to me more like how v-sync works.

see you, space cowboy

I have a GTX 770 Lightning and I'm getting 60-90 FPS in BF4 ULTRA and with AA off 90-110FPS. What OS are you using? When I switched to Windows 8 the game became butter smooth

Hope amd is gonna support something like this so its not that expensive to have it

Switching to nvidia is not a great idea imo with my watercooled cards 2x 7870

if i want to do that i need to sell the 2 cards and get a new gpu plus waterblock and the gsync module

The module itself is $299 and can be pre-ordered at this website and have it in your hands later this month. - http://www.digitalstormonline.com/nvidia-g-sync.asp

That pre order is for digital storm to install it for you.

OP how'd you get this? Do you do product reviews and get an early sample or something?

I've got the monitor the gsync module is compatible with but i thought the module its self wasn't out yet

Well I would recommend that you think about switching to Windows 8.1 it isn't nearly as bad as people making it out to be and it runs BF4 better then Windows 7 ever could. If I'm not mistaken you can download a free copy at Microsoft.com and evaluate it for 90days thats what I did. If you wanna bring back the start menu there are tons of programs that you can use I used Start8.
