Friend having serious input lag

My friend just texted me and told me he's having bad input lag with sniper elite v2 on his new machine. He's running an a6, a 7770, and 8gb ram. This is all i know.

Turn off anti aliasing, turn off vsync.

Well, I'm glad I could help. And another thing to look out for (this seems to happen a lot with my nephews' computer) is in case if he does experience some sort of graphical issues after a Windows update a system restore may well be required and even maybe having to block the updates if they keep on causing problems.
